Pages, groups, reels
Facebook publishes through the Meta Graph API, the same foundation as Instagram. OpenPost supports Page posts, photo albums, feed videos, and reels.

Log in as the Page admin
Whichever Facebook account has Adminrole on the Page you want to post to — that’s the account you’ll authenticate with.
Connect from OpenPost
Connections → + Add channel → Facebook. Meta’s consent screen requests:
public_profile+email— basic account identity.pages_show_list— list Pages you admin.pages_manage_posts— publish to a Page (feed, photos, videos, and reels).pages_read_engagement— pull analytics.
Pick the Page
Meta returns the Pages you admin. Choose one. Repeat the flow for each additional Page.
What OpenPost publishes
- Text post— up to 63,206 chars. Links unfurl. Emoji allowed.
- Image post— single image or 2 to 10 images in an album. Caption under 63,206 chars.
- Video post— up to 4 hours declared by Meta. OpenPost caps any single upload at 1 GB regardless of platform.
- Reel— vertical video, 9:16 aspect recommended.
- Link post— posts a URL that unfurls into a rich preview. Add a caption to frame the link.

Analytics we pull
Page analytics only — personal profiles don’t expose insights. Meta has a rolling metric-deprecation schedule running through June 2026, so individual fields may disappear without warning; OpenPost gracefully hides anything that returns empty.
